Pro-Rated Refund Policy
A pro-rated refund of the Site Subscription is available in the following situations:
- there is a change to the options available in the Site Subscription, such as the June 11, 2026, announcement regarding the removal of the software downloads part of the subscription
- a change to sqlReports which changes the main functionality of sqlReports, such as the SQL Query options change in sqlReports 16
- if a version of the SIS has been released which causes the core functionality (the ability to create and run reports) of the latest version of sqlReports to no longer work and there's no fix,
In the cases above, customers should contact Matt and provide SIS information (version information, update dates, etc.) as needed.
The following do not constitute a refund, but instead will be repaired or replaced:
- Current download zip files from the sqlReports.net web site - if a download zip file is faulty, please contact Matt so that he can check into it and update it as needed.
- Current reports from the sqlReports.net web site - if you have an issue with a report in it's original format, please contact Matt and he will check into it and update the report as needed. For example, if a SIS upgrade causes errors with a report due to database changes, the report will be redone to account for the SIS changes.
Site Subscription Full Refund Policy - New Customers (no longer applicable as of January 1, 2026)
The Site Subscription (formerly known as sqlReports Subscription) consists of digital downloads, which are intangible products available as soon as a person logs into this site. The following policy allows for a customer to request a refund within a specific timeframe as long as as the digital products haven't been accessed:
Unless local laws regarding digital downloads specify otherwise, a refund for a subscription order is available provided:
- The refund request happens within 5 calendar days following the order's invoice date, and
- Any account tied to the customer has not logged into the site during those 5 calendar days.

- June 18, 2026 - changes to reflect the discontinuation of the Full Refund Policy for new customers since sales to new customers stopped on January 1, 2026. Also updated the Pro-Rated Refund part to cover changes in the site subscription.
